Sotheby's has just sold the Patek Philippe Henry Graves Supercomplication for 23.2 million Swiss francs, or US$24 million, to a unsurprisingly, victorious bidder - making it the most expensive timepiece ever by a wide margin. We bring you a quick rundown of the sale right here.

AUCTION WATCH: Highlights From Christie’s Hong Kong Sale, With Some Special Patek and Lange

On May 28 Christie's will offer over 600 lots at its Hong Kong sale, including several rare Lemania-based Patek Philippe chronographs, a Panana Canal Rolex, and, for the first time ever at auction, the behemoth Lange 31. And for vintage fans there's a Rolex GMT-Master 6542 with original box and papers.

Sotheby's brought the hammer down on the 43 lots at the (RED) charity auction yesterday, raising US$12.9 million for charity. Amongst the top lots were the Jaeger-LeCoultre Newson Atmos and Memovox Deep Sea.
