We are seeking applicants for the following roles. The requirements for each role can be found below.
Editorial assistant
- Primarily a part time job requiring 1-2 hours of work a day between 3-6 pm GMT+8 (full time is also possible but it would entail content creation as well)
- Remote working so candidate can be based anywhere
- Candidate should have some basic knowledge about watches
- Previous editorial experience is plus but not a pre-requisite
The role is primarily administrative, and includes the following:
- Assist writers with editorial work, including sourcing images, data, and formatting articles
- Managing editorial calendar and coordinating between editorial staff
- Downloading, organising, and archiving digital material
- Social media reporting
- Uploading material to social media
- Organising social media posts, for example, categorising highlights
Writer
- Full or part time
- Remote working so candidate can be based anywhere
- Candidate should be knowledgeable about watches
- Previous editorial experience is plus but not a pre-requisite
- Candidate should be familiar with our editorial “voice” and content focus
The role includes the following:
- Primarily to create written content in longform articles and short captions for social media
- Longform content require includes covering new releases, industry news, event announcements and the like
- Other content required includes captions for social media posts on Instagram and the like
- Additional tasks include assisting with weekly newsletter and admin tasks like website carousel updates or social media reporting
