The Girard-Perregaux Laureato Chronograph Exhibition Opens in Singapore

From 1st to 13th August at Ngee Ann City.

Since the revival of the Laureato in 2016, Girard-Perregaux has quickly built a substantial collection around the sports watch, with a variety of materials, sizes and complications. But inevitably, the complication by which any sports watch collection is measured is the chronograph.

To celebrate the launch of the Laureato Chronograph earlier this year, retailer The Hour Glass is hosting a pop-up exhibition that spotlights the expansive Laureato collection, from the basic automatic to the flying tourbillon in pink gold.

The headliner of the showcase is the new chronograph, which consists of four iterations, all featuring dials with hobnail, or clous de Paris, guilloche that’s a signature of the collection. The first is a deep blue dial with the case in either pink gold or stainless steel, next a “panda” dial with refreshing blue accents and a steel case, and lastly an appealingly unusual blue-on-black dial in steel.

It’s also worth pointing out the cases are available in either 38mm or 42mm – the 38mm feels elegant and slightly retro – but all versions are powered by a GP03300 base movement with a chronograph module on top.

The Laureato exhibition is open to the public daily from 10am to 9.30pm, and takes place at the Level 1 Atrium of Ngee Ann City, located at:

391 Orchard Rd
Singapore 238873

The exhibition is open from now till August 13, 2018.
